   Proposal Description:
   The mini-mental state examination (MMSE) is often used as a preliminary cognitive assessment for patients complaining of cognitive impairment.  The aim of this analysis is to assess the value of the MMSE for predicting diagnosis of dementia within 3 years, among patients presenting to the center with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).  We will use regression models for positive predictive value curves to develop race and education specific predictive value  curves.
